Akhila Bharata Haridasa Sammelana Trust, Bangalore & Shri Purandara Vittala Seva Trust, OM Nagar, Adoni are happy to announce the celebrations of “34th Akhila Bharata Haridasa Sammelana & ArAdhana of Shri Purandara Dasaru” at Shri Purandara Ashrama (website:
www.sripurandaraashrama.org) from 31st January, 2011 to 3rd February, 2011.

Keerti Sesha Shri Guru Govinda Vittala Dasaru of Mysore, with an aim to propagate the message of Haridasaru, initiated “Akhila Bharata Haridasa Sammelana” coinciding with the ArAdhana of Shri Purandara Dasaru during the year 1978.  Since then, ABHS Trust has been conducting the Haridasa Sammelana at different pilgrimage & other centers in different parts of South India & Maharashtra.  In the past many years, this event has attracted tens of thousands of people across the country and has paved way for their spiritual upliftment.  As part of this event, many dharmic activities like Homas-Havans, lectures of eminent scholars, Bhajans by eminent artists, Shri Shrinivasa Kalyanotsava Karyakrama, etc. are arranged with the sole motive of pleasing Sajjantargata Shreesha.

Sammelana of 2011 is truly special:  The Sammelana in 2011 is being conducted at Shri Purandara Ashrama, an institution founded by Shri Harinarayana Vittala Dasaru, an ardent disciple of Shri Guru Govinda Vittala Dasaru.  There is no better way to offer Guru-dakshina to Guru Bimba than to conduct ArAdhana celebrations - focused primarily on Jnana Karya - at a place meant for propagating Haridasa Sahitya.  This definitely is bound to please Guru Bimba.

Inauguration & visit of Swamiji’s:  Shri Shri 1008 Shri Suyateendra Teertha Swamiji of Shri Raghavendra Swamy MaTa, Mantralayam has kindly consented to inaugurate the Sammelana on 31st January, 2011 (Monday) and perform Shri Moola Rama Devara Pooja on 1st February, 2011 (Tuesday).  Shri Shri 1008 Shri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji of Shri Pejavara Adhokshaja MaTa, Udupi has kindly consented to participate in ArAdhana Celebrations and perform Acharya Madhwa Kararchita Shri Vittala Devara Pooja on 2nd February, 2011 (Wednesday).

Spiritual Souvenir: To commemorate this occasion, a beautiful Souvenir is being published with well researched articles in Kannada, English & Telugu covering various aspects of Madhwa Siddhanta in general and Shri Haridasa Sahitya in particular.  Apart from the articles, the Souvenir will also contain the anugraha sandesha's from Swamiji's aand Dasokti's.
