Pushya mAsa-kRuShNa pakSha is very auspicious. The ArAdhana's of 3 stalwarts of Madhwa parampara is celebrated during this period - Shri Narahari Teertharu (Hampi) on Saptami, Shri Gopala Dasaru (Uttanuru) on AshTami and Shri Purandara Dasaru (Hampi) on AmavAsya.
